If you want to make NTFS 4 for Windows NT 4.0 to be compatible with NTFS （V5） of windows 2000， service pack 4 is required for Windows NT 4.0. You can put both operating system i.e. Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 Professional on the same partition or on the different partition but recommended option is to place the windows 2000 professional on the different partition from windows NT 4.0.
